Urban Freestyle: Tokyo Throwdown

The client request was a show open and title design for a mid-summer Dance Competition Show. The show consists of break dancing teams who compete each week on the Tokyo streets in Japan during head-to-head dance battles.

The design brief specified the design style as being young and edgy, sophisticated and graphic while also referring to local Japanese urban culture.
